Fuencaliente Lighthouse, the course climbs all the way up to Roque de Los Muchachos (2,426 m), the highest point on the island, before descending steeply through Tazacorte to reach the finish line in Los Llanos de Aridane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Marathon<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Distance: 43.2 km<br>Elevation gain: +1,884 m \/ loss: \u20133,320 m<br>Starting point: Refugio del Pilar<br>Finish line: Puerto de Tazacorte<br>A demanding yet spectacular route that combines forest trails, volcanic ridges and panoramic sea views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Half Marathon<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Distance: 24.8 km, with +2,097 m ascent and \u2013689 m descent.<br>Starting from Fuencaliente Lighthouse, runners climb steadily through volcanic terrain to reach Refugio del Pilar \u2014 a shorter, yet equally beautiful and challenging experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Vertical
