Bajada de la Virgen 2025 Official Poster
The jury unanimously selected the design by Abián Lázaro Calero González, a Plastic Arts and Design Technician from San Andrés y Sauces, as the official poster for the Bajada de la Virgen 2025. His artwork was chosen from among 32 submissions displayed at Casa Vandewalle during the past summer.
The artist explains that his poster, created with a minimalist yet artistic style using geometric strokes, represents an allegory of the Bajada de la Virgen. Set against a red background symbolizing passion and festive joy, the poster highlights the simplified figure of the Virgin and the iconic Dwarf (Enano), two key symbols that reflect the cultural richness of this grand celebration. Every element, including Marian details, was carefully crafted to capture the spirit of the event.
