Learning to Breathe Underwater
Your diving journey begins with a briefing on the equipment and safety principles. In shallow water, you’ll take your first breaths underwater, an incredible feeling! With the help of a certified instructor, you’ll gain confidence and practice key diving skills.
Once you’re ready, you’ll embark on your first shallow dive, exploring the volcanic seabed and observing colorful marine life up close.
After a short break and some refreshments at the beach, you’ll gear up for your second dive. Depending on your comfort level, you can descend up to 12 meters. By the end, you’ll feel like a true diver!
You’ll receive your SSI Basic Diver certification, which allows you to continue diving (to 12m) for 6 months and counts toward your Open Water Diver certification if you wish to continue your training.
