La Palma will celebrate the 18th edition of the Mountain Hiking Festival from 18 to 20 September 2026, a well-established event that promotes active tourism through guided routes for different levels and at affordable prices.
Organised by the Cabildo de La Palma and Sodepal, the festival invites visitors to discover the island on foot, crossing volcanic landscapes, forest areas, traditional paths and places full of history and local flavour. Without a doubt, exploring La Palma on foot is one of the most authentic ways to experience its essence.
During the three days of the event, the Plaza de España in Santa Cruz de La Palma will become the Plaza del Senderista, the meeting point from which all excursions will be coordinated. From there, each participant must travel independently to the starting point of their chosen route.
Registration must be completed before 11 September.
