The Carnival of Santa Cruz de La Palma dresses up for its 2024 edition, inviting us on a spectacular journey through the seventh art. This year, by unanimous decision in a citizen referendum, cinema has been chosen as the theme, promising to turn the streets into a vibrant stage where the magic of movies will come to life.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8:
5:30 p.m. Grand Parade “School Carnival”. It starts at Plaza de la Alameda, proceeds along Anselmo Pérez de Brito street, continues along El Puente Avenue, and ends at Marítima Avenue. This parade includes the active participation of local educational institutions and schools from neighboring municipalities, ending with a Children's Party at the Central Carnival Venue featuring a performance by the KantyKomba Company.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9:
10:00 a.m. Crazy Charity Race at Plaza de La Alameda, supporting the KALEN association.
11:00 a.m. Murga Festival of Colegio Santo Domingo de Guzmán at Plaza de España.
2:00 p.m. Wig Party at the Central Carnival Venue promising musical entertainment by various artists and groups. SEE WIG PARTY PROGRAM 2024.
3:00 p.m. Cocktail Competition takes place at Plaza José Mata, organized by the entrepreneurs of the Historic Center.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10:
6:00 p.m. Carnival Party. Carnival Venue. Performance: “La Palma Blue Experience”: La Diabla, La Pantera, J. Beren, and Dj Conjurer, “Los 40 POP”: Ptazeta, Lérica, Juacko, Dellacruz, Marlena, St. Pedro, Paula Koops, and Polo Nández. Host: Tony Aguilar, Orquesta Maquinaria Band, Dj. X.
6:30 p.m. Carnival Party with musical performances and the welcome of Ambassadors and Great Personalities with a parade starting from O’Daly Street to Plaza de La Alameda.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11:
11:00 a.m. The Indianitos take center stage, creating a festive atmosphere for the little ones at the Central Venue.
7:00 p.m. The “Orillas del Son” Festival celebrates traditional Cuban music with special guests and live performances.
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12:

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13:
5:00 p.m. Activities such as bouncy castles and children's workshops are offered at the Central Carnival Venue.

5:00 p.m. Activities with bouncy castles and workshops
7:00 p.m. The magic of Carnival takes place at the Central Carnival Venue.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16:
5:00 p.m. Mask party at the Day Center
7:00 p.m. Announcement parade of the Funeral of Doña Sardina starting at Plaza de la Alameda, concluding the festivities at the Central Carnival Venue.
