Santa Cruz de La Palma will welcome Christmas with an impressive drone show that will light up the city’s sky. On November 23rd, the island’s capital will be filled with magic and technology to celebrate the start of the Christmas festivities. At 8:00 PM, in Plaza de España, the traditional Christmas speech will take place, this year given by D. Jesús Nuño Peña. Following that, as it happened in 2023, thousands of people are expected to gather on Avenida Marítima, near Calle Apurón, to enjoy at 9:30 PM the drone show, where 220 drones will create luminous figures related to Christmas, while also referencing the upcoming lustral festivals. After the drone show, the celebration will continue with a tribute to Luis Miguel, where singer Ykay Ledesma will perform live, making the audience dance and reliving the greatest hits of the Mexican artist.
