
Every year, the neighborhood of San Antonio in Breña Baja celebrates the Fiestas of the Virgen del Socorro with devotion and joy. The program blends tradition, folklore, music and religion, offering festive moments for all ages.
Thursday, August 28
12:00 pm: Ringing of bells to announce the start of the festivities.
6:00 pm: Parade of Cabezudos with the Breña Baja Municipal Band.
7:00 pm: Opening speech by Nacho Rivas (singer of Salvapantallas) with music by Mario Rivero. Plaza de la Ermita.
7:45 pm: Dance performance by Revolution Dance.
Friday, August 29
12:00 pm: Ringing of bells.
4:30 pm: Traditional games.
5:30 pm: Inflatable castles and children’s entertainment with Tabayzú.
7:30 pm: Holy Mass in memory of Juan Antonio (Campanera).
9:15 pm: Concert by Los Benahoare featuring soloist Javier Hernández (Los Sabandeños).
Saturday, August 30
12:00 pm: Ringing of bells.
6:00 pm: XIII Romería de El Socorro, with folklore groups from El Hierro, La Gomera and Tenerife. Offering to the Virgin at the end.
10:00 pm: Baile de Magos with orchestras Tropicana’s, Guaydil (Tenerife) and DJ Equis.
11:30 pm: Auto Mariano with dance, fireworks, the appearance of Belial, masks and giants.
Sunday, August 31
11:00 am: Water party with aquatic castles.
12:00 pm: Ringing of bells.
6:00 pm: Concert by Salvapantallas and DJ Equis.
8:00 pm: Religious function in honor of the Virgen del Socorro, sung by the Gándara group. Followed by a procession with the Breña Baja Municipal Band.
Monday, September 1
6:00 am: Diana floreada.
12:00 pm: Ringing of bells and Holy Mass for the deceased.
7:30 pm: Solemn Mass in honor of the Virgen del Socorro. Afterwards, procession with the Nueva Esperanza Band (Breña Alta).
9:30 pm: Concert by Los Cantadores.
Novenas (September 2–7)
7:30 pm: Holy Rosary.
8:00 pm: Holy Mass.
8:30 pm: Procession of the Virgin.
