On Saturday, April 26, starting at 5:00 PM, the neighborhood of Montes de Luna, in the municipality of Mazo, will celebrate the highly anticipated Romería del Palo Podrido 2025, an event full of tradition, music, and joy.
The route will begin at La Cruz, following the Camino del Palo Podrido until reaching the CEIP Montes de Luna. As part of the festivities, a €50 prize will be awarded to the best-decorated float, encouraging creativity and a festive spirit.
During the Romería, music will be provided by the parrandas En Trapiche, Huartaya, and El Lagar, ensuring a lively and rhythmic atmosphere. To fully immerse yourself in the tradition, it is recommended to attend wearing typical Canarian attire or farmer-style clothing.
The Romería is just one of many activities planned for this festive weekend, which will take place from Thursday, April 24, to Sunday, April 27, 2025.
