On May 2, 2026, it’s a big afternoon in El Paso. The Bajada de La Pepa returns as part of the Fiestas de la Cruz de Las Canales. It’s one of those plans you live out in the streets, with people, music and a great mood.
From 17:00, there will be live performances, the enthronement of the cross and the flag raising. And at 19:30 comes the moment everyone waits for. La Pepa comes down from Barranco de Las Canales to Plaza Francisca de Gazmira, accompanied by batucadas.
After that, the party continues with live music by Los Tres de Caña, Orquesta Libertad and DJ Tenax.
