Los Llanos de Aridane is preparing to experience one of the most complete and eagerly awaited festive periods of the year: the Patron Saint Festivities in honour of Our Lady of Los Remedios 2026. More than a month of celebrations, from 31 May to 15 July, will turn this municipality into the epicentre of culture, tradition and entertainment in the west of the island.
The programme offers a wide variety of activities for all audiences: solemn masses and processions, the moving Traditional Pilgrimage on 27 June, concerts covering all musical genres, folklore festivals, sports competitions, beach football tournaments, basketball and chess events, street theatre, exhibitions, book presentations, and agricultural and artisan fairs.
The major highlight comes on 2 July, the Main Feast Day, when the entire town comes to a standstill to honour its patron saint with the Solemn Eucharist, the traditional procession of the image of Our Lady of Los Remedios, and fireworks to close the night.
The following days bring even more concerts, international basketball competitions, the Gastronaos gastronomic fair in Puerto Naos, and shows for all tastes and ages.
