The Mountain Hiking Festival celebrates its 16th edition on the island of La Palma from September 12th to 15th, 2024. Organized by the Cabildo and Sodepal, this event aims to promote active tourism through guided hiking routes available at an affordable price. Hiking is the best way to discover the natural and cultural wonders of the "beautiful island." During the festival, Plaza de España transforms into the Plaza del Senderista, from where all the excursions depart.
From the meeting point, each participant will travel by their own means to the starting point of the hike. It is important to register in advance by September 2nd.

Pico Bejenado Route: 4.5 hours, 9.5 km
Camino de los Dragos Route: 4 hours, 11.5 km (GarafÃa)
Pico de La Nieve Route: 6 hours, 14 km
Wine Route: 4 hours, 3 km (Puntagorda and Tijarafe area)
Cheese Route: 4 hours with a visit to a cheese factory, 10 km (Barlovento area)
Honey Route: 4 hours with a stop at an apiary, 8.2 km (Puntallana-Santa Cruz de La Palma area)
Stars among Volcanoes Route: 4.5 hours, 8.6 km (San Antonio-Faro de Fuencaliente)
Route to the Gallegos Coffee: 4 hours with a visit to a coffee plantation, 8 km (Barlovento)
Volcanoes Route: 7 hours, 20.5 km
Caldera de Taburiente Route: 7 hours, 13 km
Jedey Route: 4.5 hours, 9.5 km
Cubo de La Galga Route: 3.5 hours, 6 km
Waterways Route: 3.5 hours, 7 km (Santa Cruz de La Palma)
