Hiking to Roque de los Muchachos and Pico de la Cruz
The meeting point depends on the option you choose when booking. From there, a minibus will take you up the mountainside, passing through the island’s five vegetation zones, a journey through La Palma’s natural diversity.
At 1,800 m altitude, the hike begins inside Caldera de Taburiente National Park. An expert guide will lead you along volcanic trails lined with high mountain vegetation like broom and codeso, while sharing insights into La Palma’s unique ecosystems.
You’ll reach over 2,000 m, walking to Pico de la Cruz and Pico de la Nieve, with breathtaking views of the Roque de los Muchachos and the magical sea of clouds.
After around 4 hours of walking through dramatic landscapes, your bus will be waiting to take you back, filled with the unforgettable feeling of having touched the sky.
