Perfect for those seeking organized hiking and unique nature encounters, this route reveals the heart of La Palma’s crown jewel: the Caldera de Taburiente National Park.

At the scheduled time, you will be picked up at the chosen location. From there, a bus will take you to Los Brecitos viewpoint at 1,081 meters, your starting point for a 16 km journey into the caldera.

You’ll begin a gentle descent through dramatic landscapes and lush pine forests. The first rest stop is in the central area of the park, by the riverbed, a perfect place to take a break and soak in the surroundings.

Along the way, you’ll visit the park’s Visitor Center to learn about its geology, flora, and fauna. You’ll pass Roque Idafe, a symbolic volcanic rock, and reach the famous Cascada de los Colores, a stunning, multicolored waterfall unlike anything else.

The final leg of the hike leads to Dos Aguas and the Barranco de las Angustias, where water flows through towering canyon walls. At around 5:00 PM, a vehicle will be waiting to take you back, marking the end of a truly unforgettable day in nature.
