From June 13 to 15, 2024, the festival of San Antonio del Monte is commemorated in La Palma in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, known as the protector of animals and plants, noted for his humble life and deep connection with nature. Annually, in the recreational area of San Antonio del Monte in Garafía, a significant fair is held that has established itself as a benchmark in terms of the cuisine of La Palma and the traditions of the island. This festival is recognized as the most important popular event in the north of the island, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

Thursday, June 13
09:00h. Fireworks launch announcing the start of the festivities. Central festival area.
10:00h. Decoration and raising of the symbolic arch. Central festival area.
10:30h. Dance with Parranda La Laja. Central festival area.
10:30h. Exhibition of traditional sports. Between the Church, Casa de Los Romeros, and Finca Diego.
10:30h. Plowing demonstration with a horse, conducted by local residents. Finca Diego, in front of San Antonio restaurant entrance.
11:00h. Canarian ball game exhibition by Club Siete Fuentes from Villa de Garafía. Area between the Church and Casa de Los Romeros.
11:30h. Stick fighting game demonstration by Aragavia. Area between the Church and Casa de Los Romeros.
12:00h. Shepherd's leap demonstration by Club Jurria Tenerra. Area between the Church and Casa de Los Romeros.
12:30h. Celebration of the Holy Mass in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, accompanied by the Awara Choir and followed by a procession with the Salvatierra Municipal Music Band. Church of San Antonio de Padua.
14:00h. Traditional fraternity meal. Agricultural Promotion Center.
15:30h. Musical-poetic performance by the Palmeran Association of Versifiers "Punto y Clave" and guest artists from La Palma and Cuba, featuring a recital by young decimists from the region (Insular Workshop of Versifiers of La Palma). Central festival area.

11:00h. Gathering of parrandas with El Lagar, Los Derrepente, El Trapiche, and La Laja. Opening of the children's attractions. Various locations within the central and fairground areas.
11:30h. Opening of various stands at the fair dedicated to cheese and wine. Fairground booths.
