The Patron Saint Festivals of Tazacorte are of great significance for both the town and the entire island of La Palma, as San Miguel Arcángel is not only the patron saint of this municipality but historically, La Palma was also known as "San Miguel de La Palma" in honor of the saint. The festivities are celebrated from September 12 to October 24, 2024, encompassing over a month of religious activities, events suitable for all ages, popular dance parties, sports competitions, and cultural events. Among the activities are the Coronation Gala of Miss and Mister La Palma 2024, painting exhibitions, exotic bird exhibits, and the craft fair. The festivities culminate with the emblematic Baile de la Palomita (Flye Flye Little Dove), accompanied by the parade of the Caballos Fufos, which this year celebrate their 115th anniversary.
