You start with an exciting bus journey from the east to the north of the island, arriving at the picturesque municipality of Garafía. From there, you embark on a fascinating walking tour through a forest where movie scenes have been filmed, a journey of approximately 6 kilometers that immerses you in a fairy-tale landscape, among tall heathers and the melodious singing of birds. During this walk, you will marvel at the engravings of the first settlers, contemplate the majestic Caldera del Agua, understanding why La Palma is known as “the beautiful island”.
The journey takes you to the iconic Plaza del Gallo, marking the end of the hike. Afterwards, you continue the journey by bus to the Eufrosina Wineries, where you will enjoy a delicious homemade lunch, but also delight in the natural and well-kept environment that surrounds this place, a true treasure on the island. The next stop takes you to the coast of the municipality of Tijarafe, a descent by bus that will leave you breathless due to the drivers’ skill.
From the parking lot, take a short path towards El Porís, an idyllic coastal spot bathed by the waters of the Atlantic. Here, the calm of the place and the light that bathes it create a truly magical atmosphere, making it a treasure for both locals and visitors. Before returning to the eastern side of the island, you will stop at the El Time viewpoint to enjoy the impressive views of the Aridane Valley. The day ends with your return, approximately at 19:00 hours, depending on the pickup point. Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothing and shoes to fully enjoy this unique experience.
