Every year, the municipality of Garafía dresses up to celebrate one of the most deep-rooted and traditional festivals in La Palma: the Feast of Saint Anthony of the Mount. This year, the celebration will run from June 5th to 13th, with Saturday the 13th being the big day.
The Feast of Saint Anthony of the Mount is an encounter with one's roots, a living tribute to rural culture and the values that have defined the people of northern La Palma for centuries. Throughout its days, the festival proudly celebrates the products of the land: artisan cheese, wine with a designation of origin, and livestock that for generations has been part of the landscape and identity of Garafía.
