The Tijarafe Patron Saint Festivities 2026 will fill the municipality with tradition, music, sport, popular culture and devotion through an extensive programme taking place from 15 August to 8 September. Residents and visitors will be able to enjoy sports tournaments, exhibitions, summer cinema, tastings, folklore gatherings, children’s activities and religious events in honour of Our Lady of Candelaria.
Among the main highlights are the IV Guajira y Punto Fest, the Cuban Culture Showcase, the International Punto Cubano Festival, the Traditional Night, the Senior Citizens’ Day, the Night of Humour, the Triduum in honour of the Virgin and the eagerly awaited Danza del Diablo with Giants and Big-Headed Figures, one of the most representative events of the festivities.
