La Palma Corpus Christi 2024

The community and visitors are invited to participate in the celebration of Corpus Christi 2024 in Villa de Mazo, which will take place from the second half of May until the early days of June. The main event is on May 30th, featuring spectacular flower carpets and decorated crosses, emblematic symbols of this key festival in the municipality.

Thursday, May 30 - Corpus Thursday and Canary Islands Day

• • 09:00 to 17:00h: Challenger Generali Seguros La Palma Padel Tournament at the municipal courts.

• • 16:30h: Opening of various exhibitions.

• • 17:30h: Concert by the Students’ Band of the Municipal Music Classroom at Bishop Elias Yanes Square.

• • 18:30h: Solemn Celebration of the Eucharist at San Blas Parish Church.

• • 19:30h: SOLEMN PROCESSION WITH THE BLESSED SACRAMENT through the route adorned with arches, corridors, carpets, tapestries, and rest areas, blessing with the Lord in the Eucharist at Pedro Pérez Díaz Square and upon arrival at San Blas Parish Church, accompanied by the band.

• • 21:30h: La Trova Concert to celebrate Canary Islands Day at Corpus Square.

Friday, May 31

• • 09:00h: Drawing contest of the Tapestry at Pedro Pérez Díaz Square, for schoolchildren.

• • 10:00h to 13:00h: Ludo Kids’ Park with inflatable attractions.

• • 11:30h: Children’s entertainment with Clown Flon.

• • 13:00h: Award ceremony of the drawing contest.

• • 16:00 to 22:30h: Continuation of the padel tournament.

• • 16:30h to 19:30h: "Learning Through Playing" Tournament at the Municipal Sports Center.
