Panoramas from La Concepción Viewpoint
Located in the municipality of Breña Alta, this spectacular natural balcony atop the Risco de La Concepción offers a sweeping view of Santa Cruz de La Palma stretching out below.
At its base lies the Valle de la Luna, a charming crescent‑shaped neighbourhood nestled inside an ancient hydrovolcanic crater. At dusk, the viewpoint becomes a perfect spot for unforgettable night photography, with the city’s amber lights, designed to protect the dark sky, creating a magical and astronomy‑friendly urban landscape.
Looking north, the panorama extends to the coast of Puntallana, while to the west you can see the fertile Valle de las Breñas, and in the distance the Cumbre ridge forms a dramatic backdrop, blending city, sea and mountains in perfect harmony.
